Modules Offered to Business Persons

Module 1

Responsible: Dr. Ágnes Sz. Szabolcsi, Department Head
As part of the module, in the form of practical training, students shall learn about the basics of information technology and information systems; the legal (financial, educational and entrepreneurial) information sources. Students are introduced into the domestic and European printed and electronic information sources.


Module 2

Hungary’s Economy and the European Union

Responsible: Dr. Béla Hajnal, Head of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County branch of the National Statistical Bureau
Contents of the module: Students shall learn about the efforts of Central and Eastern European countries on their way towards accession the EU, the costs and economic benefit of the accession of these countries, financial transfer within the union and national budgets, the population of the Union in the centre and on the peripheres. The lectures shall deal with the possible economic effects on the institutions, enterprises of the region, the expected changes in technology transfer, settlements, finance, services and education. Interrelations between the EU and other economic regions in the world are also to be dealt with.
